The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States does not govern a sector in a “healthy way” and may make the United States less appealing to crypto companies as a location. Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, thinks that crypto frameworks should begin with “clear protections for consumers” and that the SEC’s action against Ripple should be resolved this year.
