The Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Commission are investigating the Digital Currency Group’s activities. According to Bloomberg, officials of the US Department of Justice in the Eastern District of New York, as well as the US Securities and Exchange Commission, are investigating transactions between Digital Currency Group and its subsidiary, Genesis.
It is said that Genesis and Digital Currency Group have not been accused of any illegal activities. It should be mentioned that the possibility of bankruptcy for Genesis was also raised by its managers.
